Welcome!/Fall Fashion

Hello!

So I have been having the itch to start a blog for months and have finally decided to scratch it. So here it goes and hopefully someone out there will find my sharings interesting and helpful. My schedule doesn't need anything added to it, but I need a creative outlet. Hopefully expressing some creativeness will be a bit more practical than excessive shopping with money I don't have...

First things first...

Can we please talk about how ready I am for Fall and cool weather. Winter is my favorite season but Fall is definitely a close second. It gives me a warm, wonderfully fuzzy feeling in the pit of my stomach just thinking of the crisp air, cozy sweaters, leather boots, and whip cream melting in a cup of hot chocolate. As far as fashion goes, by September/October I am so over the skin-showing clothes I just want to throw them out my third floor window (and then run right outside and pick them all back up again). Fall can't come soon enough. I am so ready to break out my peacoats, patterned tights, oversized sweaters, and my new BR boots I got on sale at the end of last season which are going to look AMAZING over some skinny jeans. I'm pretty sure I will go from the 'end of summer wearing shorts and a t-shirt every day' to a quite possible 'beginning of fall mid-day outfit change between school and work' because I won't be able to decide what exactly to wear each day.

Winter Lights and Nuetrals

I feel like I could spend all day everyday in this outfit.
It looks so comfy.

I love the playful volume in this dress. Most of the time women
don't want volume in the hip/waist area, but DVF made this work.

I drool over faux fur vests. I bought one last year and am so
excited to bring it out this year. I probably looked very
silly wearing it out here in the desert of West Texas where
it doesn't get that cold, but I tried to rock it and loved
every minute of it.

This all white suit
is simply chic.

I can see this gem paired with black tights and some fun
heeled ankle boot for a perfect, sexy party outfit. Herve
knows how to hug women's curves in such a sophisticared way.
